Mr. Walden has 20 years of industry knowledge and experience gained through a range of leadership positions. Considered a highly experienced leader in business and sales collaboration, Mr. Walden has delivered transformative business results with customers in the telecom sector across EMEA.
Mr. Walden previously served as Vice President and General Manager for Ciena's regional Carrier market in EMEA. Prior to that, Mr. Walden developed extensive capabilities at Ciena over 14 years, including his role as Regional Director leading the Northern Europe area across the service provider, partner, and enterprise markets. Mr. Walden holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the College of Technology in Reading, Berkshire.
