An Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the new member of Digital Europe has managed companies in the international electronics sector in Spain, Germany, South America, and the United States since 1982. A professor at EADA Barcelona, he is currently responsible for International Relations at AMETIC.
Poor Prieto, who will hold the position for two years, will actively participate in the planning of the strategy and the direction of the agreed policies as well as the monitoring of their correct implementation.
“My aim is to help Spanish companies take advantage of the opportunities opening up in the European Community to develop Digital Technology as a cross-cutting element in each and every sector of activity, as well as in society itself,” says Ventura Pobre. “In particular, in the areas of training, digital entrepreneurship, and the widespread application of these technologies by small and medium-sized enterprises.”.
