Jordi Tarrida Llopart has been appointed CEO of the Rexel Group in Spain, effective November 21, 2014, replacing José Manuel Álvarez who has left the company to pursue new professional challenges.

A Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Alcalá and an MBA graduate from IE Business School, Jordi has developed his professional career in international B2B electronics distribution companies such as EBV Elektronik (Avnet Group) and Arrow Electronics. He held the position of Vice President at both companies.
The new CEO, who will report to Patrick Bérard, Senior Vice President for Southern, Central and Eastern Europe at the Rexel Group, joins Rexel's leadership team in Spain with the aim of driving the growth and profitability of ABM REXEL and ERKA.
