Olivieri's appointment is part of a broader reorganization plan for the European structure envisioned by Alessio Murroni (recently appointed Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa), in which European markets have been divided into 4 distinct subregions:
- United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordic countries.
- DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).
- EEC - Central and Eastern Europe.
- Southern Europe - including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, and West Africa.
"I am confident that the new structure under the leadership of the new management team will allow us to capitalize on new growth opportunities in both the enterprise and service provider markets. My special congratulations to Marco on his new role: he will have everyone's support to face these new challenges," commented Alessio Murroni.
