With over thirty years in the technology sector, Folgado has led modernization and technological innovation initiatives, heading business lines focused on transformation, enterprise architecture, and cloud consulting at Atos. His career spans from designing complex solutions to leading practices in Solutions Architecture, DevSecOps, software quality assurance, and technical consulting.
He has worked with clients in strategic sectors—banking, insurance, telecommunications, and healthcare—driving large-scale projects in digital transformation, critical infrastructure optimization, and cloud migration.
He has participated in the Gold for Experts program at Cambridge and Paderborn, holds a Master's degree in Software Architecture and Distributed Systems, and possesses international certifications, including PMP, TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL, and ISTQB, among others. He is an industrial and computer engineer.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the Cloud and Infrastructure strategy in Iberia, strengthening alliances with clients and partners, and guiding organizations on their cloud journey with secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
With this appointment, Atos reaffirms its commitment to technological innovation and excellence in providing advanced digital services to its customers in the Iberian Peninsula.
