With over 23 years of experience in the IT sector, José Antonio Fernández Abad will bring extensive knowledge gained from his time at TIBCO Software, Compuware, HP, and BEA Systems.
In his new role, he will be responsible for consolidating and further developing Software AG Spain's relationships with companies in the Telco and Industrial sectors, leveraging his more than two decades of experience selling software, hardware, and services. Prior to joining Software AG Spain, Fernández Abad served as Country Manager for TIBCO Software in Spain and Portugal, Director of the Banking Division at Wincor-Nixdorf in Spain, and Director of Banking and Insurance at HP. This professional background has allowed him to specialize in transformation projects for major clients in both the national and international markets.
Fernández Abad holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master's degree in Business Administration from ICADE at the Pontifical University of Comillas.
Ad van de Noort assumes the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group
On January 1, 2026, Ad van de Noort officially assumed the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group. Since June 2025, he had been leading sales for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region on an interim basis.
