Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, she led European sales of industrial automation and control for a global technology and manufacturing company. She has more than 15 years of experience leading product management and sales organizations at multinational companies. Susana will replace Thomas Donato, effective January 1, 2019. Donato has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing, also effective January 1, 2019. “Susana is a global leader with experience in Europe, North America, and Asia. Her extensive international experience and exceptional leadership since joining Rockwell Automation make her the ideal candidate to drive growth in this region,” said Thomas Donato.
Susana González will be the company's first female president of EMEA. She will be responsible for executing the company's growth and customer strategy, and for leading the sales and marketing organization. Susana González holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Asturias Business School and San Francisco State University, as well as an MSc in Business Administration from the same university, along with other leadership programs. Eventually, Susana will relocate from Germany to Rockwell Automation EMEA's headquarters in Brussels.
