Before joining WatchGuard, he spent much of his career at HPE Aruba Networking, where for over thirteen years he held various management positions related to channel strategy and growth in Southern Europe, as well as regional responsibilities in Spain and Portugal. Throughout his career, he has also held channel management positions at companies such as Cisco and Tandberg, among others, always with a strong focus on building and developing business through partners and promoting value propositions.
In his new role, Collantes will work to strengthen WatchGuard's partner ecosystem in the region, while accelerating the adoption of advanced cybersecurity services and solutions by companies and organizations seeking to simplify security operations and improve their cybersecurity posture in a context of increasing threat complexity and sophistication. This strategy is supported by WatchGuard's unified platform, designed to simplify security management, improve visibility, and help end customers protect their digital assets without increasing their operational burden.
“We are pleased to welcome Pablo Collantes as Country Manager for Iberia. His market knowledge, international experience, and ability to drive and grow the end-customer business through the channel will be crucial in further consolidating our presence in a strategic market like the Iberian Peninsula, and in advancing our mission to democratize cybersecurity by offering companies and service providers high-level solutions that are easy to deploy and effective against current threats,” says Frédéric Saint-Joigny, Vice President of Sales for EMEA at WatchGuard.
In this new role, Collantes will drive WatchGuard's enterprise security strategy, with a special focus on MSPs as a key partner in helping companies better protect their digital environments, comply with regulatory requirements, and reduce risks. His goal will be to empower partners to deliver greater value to their end customers through demand generation programs, specialized training, sales support, and a platform approach that prioritizes simplicity, automation, and operational efficiency.
“WatchGuard is experiencing a great moment, with a clear platform offering and a vision aligned with the current needs of both MSPs and enterprises. I am taking on this challenge with enthusiasm and a commitment to working alongside our partners to scale WatchGuard's business in Iberia, expanding our market presence and helping our customers and service providers gain in protection, efficiency, and profitability,” says Pablo Collantes, the new Country Manager for Spain and Portugal at WatchGuard.
