“Advantech’s brand recognition in IoT and Industry 4.0 has grown significantly across Europe,” says Hans-Peter Nüdling, Associate Vice President of eIoT. “The company recently opened a new European Service Center in Eindhoven. The completion of this center is Advantech’s first step toward becoming Europe’s most comprehensive IoT solutions provider. This expanded, smart European headquarters also includes a warehouse and a production facility. The company employs around 400 people here in Europe and has a strong presence in 10 European countries. A new branch office was also opened in Stockholm last year.”.
“Advantech’s customers benefit from our large production capacity,” explained Jash Bansidhar, head of the European Industrial IoT Group. “The headquarters in Taiwan also helps optimize local organizations, talent, and culture, and will also seek business opportunities through a regional advisory board. A stronger sales presence here is one of the company’s main objectives to actively respond to the latest developments in Industry 4.0 trends in the EU.”
Several of Advantech’s product divisions are now fully integrated with frontline European business teams, and the compound annual growth rate from 2014 to 2017 reached 25%. Over the next three years, Advantech will seek to: 1) increase operational levels in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands; 2) establish branches in emerging European markets to conduct business and provide technical support; and 3) focus on key industries, such as machine and factory automation, medical, transportation, and automotive, as well as expand deployment in Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands.
To support the company's growth strategy for IoT development and help various sectors adopt intelligent solutions, Advantech will host customers and partners at the IoT Co-creation Summit this November. The summit will be held at the Suzhou International Exhibition Center in China on November 1st and 2nd, 2018, where the results of collaborations with several eco-friendly partners will be showcased.
