The data center in Madrid where AXARnet hosts its redundant servers features, among other characteristics, dual 15 MVA power supplies, each with a voltage of 15 kV for primary and backup power. It also includes 6000 kVA online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems with a guaranteed nominal runtime of 10 minutes, 2N redundancy in UPS systems, N+1 redundancy in backup generators, and state-of-the-art security, alarm, and monitoring systems. The new facilities are designed for high-density power configurations and utilize Interxion's energy-efficient modular architecture, incorporating free-cooling standards and highly efficient components and management systems. This facilitates the accommodation of racks with a power load of up to 15 kW. The required ISO 27001 certification validates AXARnet and Interxion's commitment to preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information resources, both physical and electronic, necessary to provide a fully secure service to AXARnet's clients.
AXARnet chose Interxion's facilities in Madrid because they offer remote access to the Spanish Internet Exchange Point (ESpanix®), which enables access to the networks of more than 30 national and international telecommunications operators.
