This metric reflects an operator's actual market share in the national fixed-line and mobile telephony markets. Furthermore, the market shares of different operators within the same corporate group have been aggregated, taking into account the national markets for both services. In this regard, following the European Commission's approval of the merger between Orange and MásMóvil in February 2024, Orange has been designated as the main operator within its corporate group, MASORANGE.

This event reflects the company's continued growth, which in recent years has seen the integration of leading companies such as Stackscale and Teradisk. Furthermore, the integration of LCRcom, with a strong presence among enterprise market operators, and Idecnet, focused on connectivity services, has contributed to the group's rise among the industry leaders. A wide range of services is offered through 20 neutral data centers—8 of which are owned by the company—distributed across the Iberian Peninsula, and a network extending over 33,000 kilometers in Spain and Portugal.

Santi Magazú, CEO of Grupo Aire, states: “The company's entry into the top 5 underscores the work we've done over the years to create one of the most innovative groups in the Spanish telecommunications sector. From the outset, we knew that our goals could only be achieved through growth. Therefore, from our position as a technology company and with the combined strengths of the various teams that make up Grupo Aire, we will continue working to be a force for change.”
