Ariadna emerged as h&k's response to vibe coding, a rapid approach to software development that uses AI as its main engine. In the words of Ariadna's Product Lead, Carlos Gutiérrez, "vibe coding is good for rapid prototyping, but not for software that needs to go into production in organizations with minimal complexity. Ariadna also uses AI, but within a governed framework, where traceability, human signature, automation, and quality are our guiding principles."
According to JetBrains data (AI Pulse, January 2026), 90% of professional developers regularly use AI, either as a co-pilot or through more advanced agents and CLI environments. But adoption hasn't solved the underlying problems. Multiple iterations are still needed to reach an acceptable solution, context and token consumption is high, and significant monitoring is required to ensure the AI does what it's asked and doesn't introduce unwanted changes. And traceability, a problem that seemed to have been solved, is once again at the forefront. At the speed at which AI produces changes, answering what was changed, why, and who approved it is no longer trivial but essential.
Ariadna, in the words of Carlos Gutiérrez, "was born from the idea of relieving the language model of the need to understand the context. To achieve this, we rely on knowledge graphs constructed deterministically from the organization's own code. This way, the AI receives the context already defined and mapped, instead of having to search for and interpret it on its own, and can concentrate on the work where it is truly effective." Before touching a single line, the platform defines which parts of the system are affected by each change, so that every intervention is defined, mapped, and auditable from beginning to end. The platform created by h&k combines a front end where key development roles interact with agents specific to each stage of the development cycle; and an advanced orchestration model that automates iterations between stages and reserves human intervention for approval decisions. Ariadna is language model independent, allowing each organization to work with the AI provider that best fits its policies and budget.
Ariadna is offered in two modalities. On the one hand, as a service operated by h&k for building new applications, modernizing legacy and obsolete applications, and/or providing evolutionary and corrective maintenance for existing applications. In this modality, h&k operates Ariadna, and the client only receives the deliverables; that is, the developed software and its operating and usage documentation.
On the other hand, Ariadna serves as a framework for companies that want to implement their own agentive software engineering solution. In this model, h&k supports companies in diagnosing their initial situation, defining their roadmap, and implementing their own model, incorporating Ariadna assets into the client's solution under a shared intellectual property model.
In the case of maintaining existing solutions, efficiencies have been measured compared to traditional software development, with over 70% savings in time, 50% reduction in costs, and a 30% improvement in the quality and security of the delivered application (compared to standard analyzers such as SonarQube).
Following an initial validation phase with key clients during the summer of 2026, Ariadna is now launching to the general market. The platform is thus moving from a controlled beta environment to a publicly available phase, targeting companies in any industry and with a particular focus on regulated sectors or organizations with legacy systems seeking to accelerate the development, modernization, or maintenance of applications using AI, without assuming the risks associated with Vibe Coding.
