Its continued focus on customer-centric solutions and outstanding partnerships enables the company to drive industry leadership and growth for its Enterprise Business Group (Enterprise BG).

In his keynote address at HUAWEI CONNECT, Yan Lida, General Manager of Huawei Enterprise BG, stated: “The emergence of maturing digital technologies and the rise of economies of scale are revolutionizing numerous industries worldwide. Companies that embrace this revolution and adopt new ICTs to drive digital transformation have the opportunity to gain a decisive competitive edge. The industrial cloud is a business-driven digital transformation that goes beyond simply combining cloud and industry; it's about integrating technologies within businesses. The digitized enterprises of the future will focus on data production, transmission, and analysis. They will need an ICT infrastructure that integrates cloud-based devices, along with an open, flexible, agile, and secure platform to forge close partnerships that develop rich applications and create a win-win, innovative ecosystem that will drive enterprise digital transformation.”.
During the press conference themed "Leading New ICT, Powering Digital Transformation," Diana Yuan, General Manager of Marketing and Sales Solutions at Huawei Enterprise BG, explained: "Huawei Enterprise BG has always been customer-centric, enabling customers to achieve business success and drive outstanding growth within BG. Together with over 400 global partners, including Accenture, SAP, General Electric (GE), T-Systems, Hexagon, Honeywell, Infosys, Siemens, and Alston, Huawei is already deploying leading ICT technologies and platforms that integrate cloud-pipe devices, allowing customers to explore new business models and boost their agility and efficiency. To accelerate these advancements, Huawei has established ten interconnected Open Labs worldwide to facilitate rapid dialogue on business models, market needs, and technology solutions across various markets. We are proud that our strategy and solutions have won the approval of customers worldwide.".
Huawei Enterprise BG also made several important announcements at HUAWEI CONNECT 2016.
Huawei published a new report titled "Business and Technology Leadership in the Post-Digital Era," developed in collaboration with the global market research organization Forrester. During the launch, Nigel Fenwick, Vice Chairman and Principal Analyst at Forrester, commented: "The companies of the future will be technology companies that truly put the customer first. Businesses need a complete transformation of their business models. Business decision-makers need to see that digital business ecosystems will be the drivers of new profit models. Companies will have to make their services more agile with open APIs, continuous innovation, and cloud platforms. Furthermore, businesses will need to build open platforms for the cloudification of their core business operations, edge data analytics, and machine vision.".
The cloud is the future; business ecosystems facilitate "cloudification"
Huawei and its global partner Accenture jointly launched enterprise cloud solutions. They jointly provided verified SAP and Oracle enterprise cloud solutions based on the Huawei FusionCloud solution for core applications to global enterprise customers, offering a one-stop service. Over the past two years, Huawei and Accenture experts have worked closely together to develop enterprise cloud solutions that help customers reduce large capital investments in IT and meet scalable and flexible system requirements.
IoT collaboration to build smarter and safer elevators
The analytics firm Lux Research explained that by 2020, the global Industrial IoT (IIoT) market would be valued at an estimated US$151 billion. IIoT encompasses factory and industrial machinery products, with the Internet of Elevators and Escalators (IoEE) being a prime example. At HUAWEI CONNECT 2016, Huawei announced a potential collaboration with a leading global elevator manufacturer to develop an open, flexible, and scalable Elevators Connection Solution. This solution would support unified connections and management for the supplier's millions of elevators worldwide. IoT technology would transmit real-time elevator operating data to enable elevator data simulation, facilitating preventative maintenance through cloud-based big data analytics. Elevator safety would be significantly improved, while operating costs could be substantially reduced.
In a rapidly changing digital world, Huawei will cooperate extensively with leading partners around the world to solidify a thriving ecosystem, working closely with its customers to drive digital transformation that meets their specific industry needs while building a better-connected world.
