In the coming years, thousands of small satellites will be launched into low Earth orbit (LEO), making the detection and location of interference increasingly important.
Atos SkyMon ILS VSAT, an integrated solution for monitoring, identifying and geolocating interference caused by VSAT networks
SkyMon ILS VSAT provides an overview of identified VSAT networks, including all active terminals and monitoring of cross-pole and adjacent satellite interference for each active terminal. It also displays the geographic location of VSAT terminals on a map and the VSAT network classification. It automatically identifies TDMA operators and TDMA carrier demodulation, and lists terminal identifiers causing interference.
Atos SkyMon ILS VSAT is part of a complete software package that includes SkyMon ILS - interference location system that works with two adjacent satellites, SkyMon ILS ONE - the world's first satellite geolocation system, SkyMon TIS - terrestrial interference scanner to identify and locate interference caused by terrestrial mobile communication networks, SkyMon CID - DVB-Carrier-ID identification.
