Following approval by the official spectrum management bodies last November, this band will become a globally capable mobile band. Already used by more than 300 fixed wireless access operators worldwide, this band offers up to 400 MHz of spectrum, ideal for data-intensive mobile applications.
From a geographical expansion standpoint, its commercial introduction in Japan is planned for the second half of this year, and trials are planned in China, as well as in the United States under the umbrella of the American regulator FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
Accelleran's "small cell" architecture is designed to fully comply with the requirements of the FCC and other official bodies, so that LTE emissions can be compatible with other commonly used bands such as WiFi, thus expanding the capacity delivered to the mobile device that demands higher access speeds every day.
