The F5 Cloud Licensing Program comprises virtual versions of F5 Big-IP appliances and its simplified Good-Better-Best (GBB) licensing model, which is based on the idea that managed service providers can offer their customers complete cloud solutions
Managed service providers, who offer their clients As-You-Use service models, can now benefit from F5 solutions in the same way. This means they no longer need to make upfront capital investments on behalf of their clients. They can select the services required by their business model or utilize the entire F5 Cloud offering. Thanks to the Bring Your Own License and special volume licensing terms, this is a highly flexible program.
An application-centric strategy helps organizations maintain control over their cloud applications. By extending the availability, performance, and security of services across environments—on-premises, public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid—businesses can be confident that their applications will deliver the same user experience wherever they are used. The same policies that govern applications in the data center can be applied in the cloud.
The F5 Cloud Licensing Program is now available on ArrowSphere, Arrow's cloud platform. ArrowSphere enables managed service providers to create their own cloud services or resell cloud services through leading manufacturers like F5.
“We are very excited to bring the F5 Networks Cloud Licensing Program to Europe,” says Steve Robinson, Vice President for Arrow’s global cloud business. “Arrow offers value-added cloud services on the ArrowSphere platform to channel partners with F5 solutions for traditional value-added manufacturers and managed service providers.”.
“For us, it’s a major step forward that the F5 Cloud Licensing Program is now on ArrowSphere,” explains Jaak Cuppens, Channel Sales Cloud and MSP EMEA. “This service offers a new consumption model for cloud partners in EMEA and enhances the customer experience on their journey to an application-focused cloud strategy with F5 solutions.”
