This strategy will improve the functionality and quality of the digital services necessary for a complete digital transformation, which is expected to increase the well-being and quality of life of citizens, while also contributing to the success of a sustainable growth model. The Single Plan aims to bring high-speed broadband, exceeding 100 Mbps, to 1,265,967 homes and businesses located in 4,516 municipalities throughout Spain, thus completing the country's digital transformation.

This second call for the ÚNICO program launched by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation will be open until December 31, 2023, for households or companies located in isolated or remote areas, promoting the deployment of the communication infrastructures necessary to provide services to their users, of at least 300 Mbps scalable to 1 Gbps symmetrical.
