The new StoneGate FW-5201 and FW-5205 devices are the latest additions to its family of modular network security appliances, incorporating high availability capabilities for continuous, uninterrupted network connectivity.
StoneGate FW-5201 FW/VPN is a firewall solution designed to meet the operational and scalability requirements of data centers, large headquarters, managed service providers, or other operational environments that demand throughput of up to 20 Gbps, although StoneGate FW-5205 supports up to 50 Gbps.
Both firewall devices are scalable modular appliances characterized by having six slots to adapt network cards and capable of supporting up to 38 1Gbps Ethernet interfaces or up to six 10Gbps interfaces and 20 1 gigabit interfaces.
The functionalities of clustering, server balancing and the ability to reserve a bandwidth per traffic type for saturated links guarantee the continuity of service in complex and critical networks.
