With this launch, focused on companies that need very high load balancing capabilities, KEMP Technologies completes its product range, with solutions adapted to organizations and service providers of all sizes.

The 5000 Series is designed for medium and large enterprises with high volumes of intranet operations and backend workflow applications. The ultra-high-performance 8000 Series offers up to 30Gbps of application data transfer and 30,000 SSL TPS to meet the needs of larger organizations, service providers, and web-scale deployments.

Both the 5000 Series and 8000 Series offer multiple 10Gb interfaces and are the only load balancers with built-in SDN adaptive traffic management capabilities. This allows the LoadMaster™ family to seamlessly integrate into software-defined networks and deliver an optimal application experience.

“We’ve developed our LMOS – the load balancing operating system integrated into our devices – to take full advantage of the latest advancements in Intel® Xeon® processors, including increased core counts and performance,” says Eduardo Garcia, Director for Southern Europe at KEMP Technologies. “This allows us to eliminate the use of proprietary FPGAs and reduces reliance on custom ASICs to deliver ultra-high performance and the ability to scale in demanding application environments. These savings translate directly into significant reductions in TCA and TCO for customers requiring high-performance Layer 7 load balancing, SSL encryption processing, high-capacity IPS/IDS, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) capabilities – all of which are CPU-intensive tasks.”.
