Trellis Thermal System Manager saves time during equipment installation and offers greater cooling efficiency, as well as facilitating the identification and elimination of hot spots. The updated Trellis platform is available worldwide.
This is the third major update to the Trellis platform's Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system since its launch in 2012. New features also include:
• Integration with Emerson Network Power's Avocent® DSView™ management software, for remote and secure management of data center infrastructures.
• New 2D/3D visualization function that allows local and remote users to rotate, zoom and view equipment at the room, rack and device level, as well as the air temperature profiles of each rack, to improve planning and operational activities.
• User interface improvements, including an intuitive home page and global toolbar.
• Improvements to Trellis power calculations, reducing both the risk of downtime caused by phase imbalances, and the wasted capacity when balancing loads across the three phases.
