The 13800 appliance offers advanced performance, with over 3,800 SecurityPower™ units (SPUs), 6.5 Gbps of IPS traffic, and scalable connectivity with up to 26 1GbE ports and 12 10GbE ports.
Meanwhile, the 21800 appliance offers up to 4,300 SPUs and 7 Gbps of IPS traffic. It also includes the Security Acceleration Module (SAM) option, increasing firewall throughput to 11 Gbps and minimizing server latency to below 5µs, and scalable connectivity with up to 37 1GbE ports or 13 10GbE ports.
As part of the family of security gateways for the data center, the 13800 and 21800 appliances offer Check Point's multi-layered protection, with four predefined security packages, including Next Generation Firewall, Threat Prevention, Data Protection and Secure Web Gateway, consolidating more security protections per appliance.
