Vertiv solutions are available as SimReady ™ 3D assets within the NVIDIA Omniverse Blueprint framework for AI factory design and operations . The reference architecture can be adapted to custom data center designs to significantly reduce planning times and minimize risk during the construction process.
Vertiv is collaborating with NVIDIA and its data center roadmaps to develop AI infrastructure strategies and deployment-ready designs that anticipate higher power densities for racks. For example, Vertiv is working with NVIDIA to support an 800VDC power infrastructure for data centers with 1 MW or more IT racks, and Vertiv solutions will be available starting in 2026.
“Continuing our close collaboration with NVIDIA and a shared vision to advance AI infrastructure, Vertiv is proud to launch our comprehensive SimReady™ 3D reference design and assets for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platform,” said Scott Armul, Executive Vice President of Global Portfolio and Business Units at Vertiv. “Vertiv solutions not only enable customers to scale their operations faster, but also digitally optimize their AI-driven data centers before building a single physical module.”
“By combining NVIDIA’s advanced AI platforms with Vertiv’s expertise in power and cooling infrastructure, we’re helping customers deploy next-generation data centers that are more efficient, scalable, and ready for the most demanding AI workloads,” added Dion Harris, Senior Director of AI Infrastructure and HPC at NVIDIA. “Together, we’re helping organizations achieve new levels of performance and sustainability as they build the future of AI.”
The reference architecture for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 is part of the Vertiv™ 360AI infrastructure platform, designed to help customers find integrated solutions to power and cool AI workloads and other high-performance computing applications.
Key benefits of the Vertiv reference architecture and SimReady™ 3D assets for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 design include:
One-Path Deployment Simulation: By leveraging NVIDIA Omniverse technologies in the architecture, the gap between physical and digital infrastructure is bridged, facilitating real-time, system-level collaboration between IT, facilities, and engineering teams. This allows customers to test, optimize, and validate the design before building a single component.
Built for the Age of AI Reasoning: Supporting rack densities up to 142kW, the reference architecture for NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 sets a new standard for accelerated infrastructure, built to power AI factories at scale.
Accelerated performance, scale, and speed: With 1.5x greater AI performance, up to 50% faster on-premises deployment, and 30% less physical footprint, the Vertiv reference architecture for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 enables customers to scale their AI infrastructure with unprecedented agility and energy efficiency.
Thermal flexibility and efficiency improvements: Liquid-cooled ready and supporting both air and hybrid cooling configurations, the new design improves annual energy efficiency by up to 70% through the use of higher water temperatures.
Global design, deployment, and operation: Backed by more than 4,000 Vertiv field engineers worldwide, Vertiv’s reference architecture for the GB300 NVL72 delivers unparalleled scalability, serviceability, and supply chain reliability for global AI deployments.
As global demand for AI continues to accelerate exponentially, Vertiv is working tirelessly to deliver critical, energy-efficient power and cooling solutions that enable the AI-ready infrastructure to support the next generation of AI factories.
