Hitachi Vantara introduces AI-powered operations software, including Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor, Hitachi Automation Director, and Hitachi Data Instance Director, to deliver a more agile data infrastructure.
Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor (HIAA) offers an AI-powered "brain" to provide deeper insights by examining the data path. HIAA uses machine learning to optimize, troubleshoot, and more efficiently predict data center needs.
Hitachi's new VSP F-series and VSP G hybrid flash systems support agile data infrastructure with unparalleled data availability guarantees. They are the only solutions in the industry to guarantee 100% data availability, up to 3x higher IOPS throughput, and 2.5x greater scalability than previous VSP models. This means customers can achieve faster analytical processing and improved application performance, fueling a quicker return on investment. Cloud integration allows more workloads to run on a single system, while also helping to eliminate data silos and supporting new workloads.
The new Hitachi VSP models include the flash-based F700 and F900 VSPs and the hybrid-flash G700 and G900 VSPs.
To reach a broader range of customers, Hitachi is introducing new mid-range models: the F350, F370, G350, and G370 VSPs.
These systems feature the next-generation Hitachi Storage Virtualization Operating System (SVOS RF), which has been redesigned to increase performance, scalability, and data efficiency. All new VSP systems are supported by Hitachi’s new service model and come with a Foundation software package that includes Hitachi’s proven data management and infrastructure analytics software. All new Hitachi VSP systems are available now.
