LTE-M
Button that operates on AT&T's nationwide LTE-M network and uses the recently announced AWS IoT 1-Click service. Activities such as ordering office supplies or submitting service requests will be as simple as pressing a button.
The LTE-M Button, slated for availability in early 2018, is easy to set up and use without requiring Wi-Fi. It's designed for enterprises and developers to integrate seamlessly into their operations with AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), and many other AWS solutions.

, which are necessary for communication with the AWS cloud, are used to encrypt data sessions between the device and AWS services.
Device manufacturers can also use the keys and credentials embedded in the SIM card to authenticate to AWS IoT. They can also manage and update certificates wirelessly. New certificates are downloaded remotely for more secure and efficient management of live devices.
The AT&T and G+D Mobile Security SIM-based solution is designed to enable the deployment of devices equipped with this feature with minimal or no hardware or logistical changes.
AT&T and AWS are expanding their collaboration.
AT&T will soon launch an AT&T OBDII IoT Kit that gives AWS customers access to the AT&T Asset Management Operation Center (AMOC). AMOC provides AWS customers with a packaged solution for monitoring equipment, vehicles, and enterprise assets through AWS.
Earlier this year, AT&T introduced an IoT Starter Kit powered by AWS.
The AT&T Asset Management Operation Center for AWS and the AT&T OBDII IoT Kit will be available on the AT&T IoT Marketplace, a comprehensive online resource for businesses to purchase and deploy IoT solutions. The IoT Starter Kit is also available for purchase on amazon.com. The LTE-M Button and SIM Certificates are also expected to be available on the AT&T IoT Marketplace.
