Called Cisco SD-WAN Cloud Hub with Google Cloud, it combines Cisco SD-WAN and Google Cloud services. As a result, corporate applications and networks can share SLA (Service Level Agreement) configurations, security and compliance policies, thus achieving predictable application performance and a consistent user experience.

The solution will help the many companies adopting a hybrid and multi-cloud strategy reduce complexity and gain benefits in agility, security, and flexibility, including:
• Increased application availability and improved user experience through intelligent discovery and deployment of SLAs via dynamic SD-WAN policy orchestration.
• Reduced risk, improved compliance, and enhanced security with end-to-end policy-based access control and optimized segmentation from branch to cloud.
• Simplified network operations and service management through automated SD-WAN provisioning and mapping of application metadata to the appropriate SD-WAN policies.

“Expanding the collaboration between Google and Cisco is an important step for businesses operating across hybrid and multi-cloud environments,” said Shailesh Shukla, Vice President of Products and General Manager of Networking at Google Cloud. “By combining Cisco SD-WAN with the global network of Google Cloud and Anthos, we can jointly offer a unique solution that automates, secures, and optimizes the end-to-end network based on application demands, simplifying hybrid deployments for organizations.”.

Cisco SD-WAN Cloud Hub with Google Cloud will facilitate the integration of WAN applications with cloud workloads: the network will communicate with the applications, and the applications will communicate with the network, preserving critical security, policy, and performance information. This integration will extend to hybrid and multi-cloud environments such as Anthos, Google Cloud's open application platform, facilitating the optimization of distributed and multi-cloud microservices-based applications.
