Zyxel's enhanced SD-WAN operating system features allow professionals to manage network configurations and troubleshoot potential problems remotely.

The new update enables Zyxel's SD-WAN solution to support high-availability configurations. These include multiple backups and fault tolerance to provide users with reliable connections at all times. IT managers can remotely configure network high availability via a cloud-based dashboard, keeping enterprise networks fully operational.

The latest version of SD-WAN also includes a Command Line Interface (CLI), giving network administrators and MSPs an additional management option, as well as greater detail when reporting issues remotely.

For those working with larger networks, using VLANs to manage small groups with different network and security policies, remote management can be complex and resource-intensive. SD-WAN features allow for remote VLAN configuration via the Orchestrator control panel, facilitating simplified and efficient network environment management.

With Zyxel's SD-WAN solution, IT teams and MSPs can remotely prioritize traffic for certain applications over others. This allows them to prioritize videoconferencing over streaming applications, ensuring smooth workflow.

"Remote work is becoming commonplace not only for users but also for the professionals who manage and monitor the smooth operation of networks," explains Gonzalo Echeverría, country manager of Zyxel Iberia. "The enhancements to our SD-WAN operating system guarantee that IT teams and MSPs can remotely provide a high level of service to those who depend on network availability and stability for their daily operations."

The new features run across the entire range of Zyxel VPN firewalls, including the VPN50, VPN100, VPN300, and VPN1000 models with firmware version SD-OS v10.03. This allows businesses of all sizes to manage their networks remotely.
