DAVANTEL presents this family in two formats: one for DIN rail mounting and another for 19” rack mounting with an LCD display and keypad on the front panel. In both cases, the server connects to an active GPS receiver mounted in a weatherproof enclosure with IP65 protection and an operating temperature range of -20ºC to +65ºC.

The connection between server and receiver is made through a UTP twisted pair cable in which the NTP server feeds the GPS receiver on one side and the GPS receiver in turn delivers the synchronization signal and a PPS signal to the NTP server. server-lane-din

The maximum length of the twisted pair cable is 200m.

The NTP server has LED indicators to verify the quality of the synchronization and is configured through the 10BaseTX Ethernet port via any browser.
Additionally, the NTP server has an SNMP Agent capable of sending alarms via Trap messages in case of loss of synchronization from the GPS signal and an integrated battery-powered clock capable of storing the time in case of loss of communication or failure of the GPS receiver.
The server accuracy is 13usec in the presence of a GPS signal.
