By mounting the antenna on the connector, it is removed from the printed circuit board, freeing up valuable space and utilizing the connector as the antenna's ground plane for improved wireless performance. The FXM100 omnidirectional dipole antenna is compatible with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6/6E, and Wi-Fi 7 and can be used in industrial robotics and test and measurement systems.

AntJack is also ideal for complex MIMO designs where antenna location and positioning are critical, especially when space is limited in 4x4 or 8x8 MIMO configurations. In addition to design constraints, designers are often forced to work near metals, which can cause interference and signal distortion.

“The FXM100 Wi-Fi antenna is a prime example of our commitment to innovation and solving the difficult challenges our customers face, such as designing antennas for metallic surfaces and complex designs,” says Olivier Robin, Chief Operating Officer at Taoglas. “Our antennas offer customers improved performance with greater flexibility, making it easier to integrate wireless technology into their devices.”.

Antenna Features and Benefits
- Broadband Coverage: Excellent antenna efficiency across the 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, and 7.1 GHz bands.
- Compact Size: 26.6 x 15.6 x 13.1 mm antenna with customizable cable and connector.
- Easy Peel-and-Stick Installation: Made of flexible PCB material with adhesive conductive foam.

The FXM100 is now available through Taoglas and its distributors. Although sold as a standalone Wi-Fi antenna, the FXM100 can be purchased with Taoglas magnetic connectors and high-end Ethernet cables to optimize bill of materials (BOM) costs. Furthermore, the antenna is compatible with any RJ45 connector size (1x2, 2x2, MxN).
