The equipment is designed for energy efficiency applications in buildings, since the data it provides offers information to optimize consumption, mainly of lighting and air conditioning by zone.

The system automatically answers complex questions such as: Is the climate control and lighting in a given area adequate based on temperature, humidity, light level, and the presence or absence of people? The SenNet THLIM sensors wirelessly transmit data every 5 minutes to a SenNet DL170 concentrator, and by combining the sensor data with calendar/schedule information, criteria are established for efficient energy control.

SenNet THLIM is easy to install because, in addition to requiring no cabling due to its wireless communication, it operates on battery power with a autonomy of over 2 years, transmitting every 5 minutes. Optionally, it can also operate with a power supply connection.

The concentrator allows monitoring of up to 100 devices, which, in addition to the SenNet THLIM sensors, can include electricity, heat, gas, water, CO2, radiation sensors, and more. The captured data can be sent via Ethernet or GPRS to a cloud-based energy platform or transmitted using the concentrator's embedded management application.
