The auto-configuration feature reduces installation to a simple plug-and-play process, eliminating the need for VPN setup or extensive IT knowledge. Furthermore, there's no need for complex firewall configurations or IP address reconfiguration. Moxa Remote Connect offers Smart IP Mapping, an intelligent IP mapping system that avoids IP conflicts and integrates seamlessly with firewalls to comply with existing IT security policies. This makes it easy for companies requiring secure remote access to minimize the time and effort needed for implementation.
To combat the numerous security risks associated with collecting data over the internet, the Moxa Remote Connect is equipped with security features including end-to-end encryption to prevent spoofing attacks. The Smart Protection feature includes an integrated firewall that allows remote access via a friends list without disrupting local networks. Access to the machines is fully controlled by the operators to provide on-demand maintenance.
The Moxa Remote Connect solution offers greater flexibility by supporting a range of connection types, including 1-to-1, multiple-to-multiple, and site-to-site, thus covering diverse user scenarios. Moxa Remote Connect also enables companies to remotely manage numerous machines and users across multiple locations, simplifying operations as businesses expand.
"Thanks to its user-friendly design, secure connections, and flexible connectivity, Moxa Remote Connect allows OEMs to easily access their remote machines and optimize their maintenance efforts," says Li Peng, a product manager for Moxa's Industrial Ethernet Infrastructure business unit.
