The ISP3080 combines a Qorvo QM33110 UWB transcriber and a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 multiprotocol chip to create a 2.4 GHz wireless system-on-a-chip (SoC), integrating a 32-bit Arm® Cortex® M4 CPU, 512 kB of flash memory and 128 kB of RAM, as well as dual-band (5 and 9) BLE and UWB antennas to provide global coverage in a single device.
Despite its small size, the module integrates decoupling capacitors, DC-DC converters, RF matching circuitry, and two antennas in addition to the wireless SoCs. Its low power consumption and advanced power management provide several months of battery life with a single coin cell battery. Mouser also offers Insight's ISP3080 development boards, which can be used as standalone PCBs or included in an evaluation kit.
