The new SAW filter (reference SAFEA2G45AC0F00) has a nominal center frequency of 2450 MHz, suitable for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems. Its high power handling capacity allows it to be used directly after the power amplifier, replacing two intermediate filters in the transmit and receive stages. This results in a reduced number of components, simplified design, lower costs, and space savings.
This new filter can handle input signal levels of +27 dBm for 500 hours up to +85°C, or +24 dBm for 5000 hours up to +85°C. The VSWR value is 1.4, with a typical insertion loss of 1.7 dB. The operating temperature range is -30°C to +85°C.
