The device includes the ST Microelectronics HTS-221 humidity sensor with a humidity range of 20% RH to 80% RH and an accuracy of ±4.5 RH. The tag also provides temperature measurement from 0°C to +60°C with an accuracy of ±1°C.
The tag is available in various sizes and antenna designs to suit different applications in the 860-960 MHz band. The sensor tag's reading distance without a battery is approximately 1.5 meters (5 feet), and it can be embedded in a variety of materials such as plastics or cement. Evaluation kits are available.
HygroFenix operates entirely without batteries, opening up a wide range of humidity and temperature monitoring opportunities in applications where access to the measurement point is restricted or where battery use is not recommended. Since batteries are not required, users do not need to worry about device autonomy.
Since the HygroFenix requires neither batteries nor cables, this product is perfect for applications such as infrastructure management in data centers (controlling humidity and temperature in rooms to optimize the life cycle of assets).
Confidently addressing the growing threat of drones
Recent drone incidents in Denmark and Norway, along with increased sightings over critical infrastructure in Germany, show that the threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is growing. At the same time, incomplete or inaccurate information continues to circulate...
