Keysight leveraged AI, machine learning (ML), and automation, using data captured by native mobile applications (not simulated traffic data), to create a new method for testing applications on devices. This provides more accurate confirmation of end-user interaction with the same mobile application. The new automated application testing method makes it easier for wireless service providers to quickly optimize 5G network performance and deliver a better quality of experience (QoE) to smartphone users accessing some of the world's most popular OTT services, including social media applications such as Facebook Messenger, Microsoft Teams, Snapchat, TikTok, and Zoom.
The new automated application testing method is one of three complementary methods available in Keysight's Nemo Device Application Testing Suite. Depending on the mobile application type and key performance indicators (KPIs), a specific testing method is used in conjunction with a Nemo field testing solution. Users of the Nemo Testing Suite receive comprehensive, realistic, and flexible end-to-end performance validation and QoE confirmation on the 5G network.
