The devices enable the safe transmission of signals without additional auxiliary power. Single- and dual-channel variants are available with either 2.5 kV or 5 kV reinforced insulation, respectively. In addition, two amplifiers for NAMUR Ex i signals with resistive output behavior for conductor fault transparency are now available, as well as two Ex i valve control blocks with a logic input for wiring fault transparency and detection. MACX Analog isolation amplifiers are developed and manufactured throughout their product lifecycle according to functional safety standards. Products certified in this way are available for all safety-oriented applications up to SIL 2 or SIL 3. This ensures high reliability and functional safety. MACX Analog Ex i isolation amplifiers are also ATEX and IEC Ex approved and offer explosion protection for all Ex zones and all gas and dust groups.
