The 12.1-inch touchscreen is the first thing that catches the user's eye. The MultiView function allows users to display the results of different applications simultaneously, enabling them to track even the most complex signal analyses and more easily identify potential faults. Furthermore, switching between measurement applications is no longer a priority.

 


With a carrier offset of 10 kHz, the R&S FSW achieves a phase noise figure below -137 dBc (1 Hz), which is up to 10 dB lower than other equipment on the market. This is an important feature for the development of RF components and complete systems for radar applications. The analyzer's excellent phase noise figure enables the acquisition of more stable radar signals. Equipped with the R&S FSW-K6 option, the R&S FSW also supports the comprehensive analysis of pulsed signals, for example, for radar applications. Its wide analysis bandwidth of up to 160 MHz allows the R&S FSW analyzer to measure broadband, hopping, and chirp signals, enabling it to meet the requirements of future wireless standards such as 802.11ac. With the R&S FSW, manufacturers can also detect spurious emissions very quickly thanks to its very low inherent noise and its ability to quickly analyze very wide frequency ranges, even using narrow resolution bandwidths.


The R&S FSW is the perfect tool for developing base stations and wireless communication components. Its wide 160 MHz demodulation bandwidth and multi-standard radio analysis function are particularly valued in this sector: combining these two features in a single device allows, for the first time, the simultaneous measurement of multiple mobile and wireless telephony standards across different frequencies.
