Thanks to this new capability, Anritsu Company adds functionality to its BTS Master™ MT8220T base station analyzer. It can perform the most important LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation measurements for all active component carriers and display them simultaneously on the same screen, thus allowing users to quickly and accurately verify the field installation for LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation.

Many LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation measurements have been automated for simplicity and efficiency. The BTS Master Anritsu Company adds functionality to its BTS Master™ MT8220T base station analyzer by automatically detecting cyclic prefix configurations to simplify user settings and prevent measurement errors. The auto-ranging function automatically optimizes the analyzer settings for each component carrier to eliminate user intervention and increase measurement process throughput. Automatic MIMO detection enables remote over-the-air MIMO verification for all carrier components, as well as absolute power and delta RS measurements. TAE measurements can also be performed with the BTS Master Anritsu Company adds functionality to its BTS Master™ MT8220T base station analyzer to troubleshoot and correct excessive synchronization offsets between carrier components. Other measurements that can be performed include SS power, EVM, and cell ID detection.

All measurements can be performed wirelessly with high accuracy thanks to the BTS Master's dynamic sweep range. Anritsu Company adds this functionality to its BTS Master™ MT8220T base station analyzer, which exceeds 25 dB. Users can also combine all carrier components at a single test point for direct connection measurement. Results are displayed and updated on a large screen over an easy-to-read measurement table.

Anritsu Company has also added enhancements to the spectrum and cable/antenna analysis capabilities of its BTS Master MT8220T base station analyzer. The built-in spectrum analyzer now also supports easyTest, enabling less experienced technicians to perform accurate tests, achieve repeatable results, and all with fewer revisions. When the analyzer is operating in Distance-to-Fault (DTF) mode, a new timestamped display makes measurements more precise and compensates for cable delays to improve the accuracy of geolocation services in VoLTE systems.

The BTS Master Anritsu Company adds functionality to its base station analyzer. The BTS Master™ MT8220T is Anritsu's third-generation, high-performance handheld base station analyzer, specially developed to advance support for 4G wireless networks, as well as 2G and 3G. The BTS Master is an all-in-one solution that incorporates 30 analyzers into a single instrument.
