Tektronix has also announced a software package optimized for 4-channel parallel processing for high-performance manufacturing testing to provide enhanced support for the new 400G PAM4 TDECQ measurements.

Tektronix claims its DSA8300-based sampling can contribute to lower testing costs with the industry's highest bandwidth, highest sensitivity, and shortest test times.
According to Tektronix, the new 80C20 and 80C21 optical modules for 56 GBaud PAM4 and NRZ can be installed on DSA8300 sampling oscilloscopes, with an optical noise of 9 μW. With the two-channel 80C21, optical manufacturing test engineers can double their throughput and capacity.
Tektronix offers a comprehensive suite of enhanced PAM4 analysis tools to decompose the signal content for noise and phase jitter, enabling engineers to understand the underlying problems in the event of device failure.

The 80C20 and 80C21 optical modules and the 400G test software updates will be available from April.
