The SPECTRAN V6 PLUS XPR 250XB-WR12 offers a signal-to-noise ratio (NFR) of 10 dB at 77 GHz. This makes it the perfect choice for radar measurements in the automotive sector (76 GHz to 81 GHz)

The SPECTRAN® V6 Xplorer sets a new benchmark with measurements up to 140 GHz while continuing to offer the advantages of low-cost USB devices. With a real-time bandwidth of up to 490 MHz and a sweep speed of 3 THz/s, this real-time spectrum analyzer is the new standard in terms of speed. Equipped with waveguide connections, it enables millimeter-wave measurements that are not possible with conventional cables.

The new series of analyzers from Aaronia AG opens up entirely new possibilities, especially in the automotive sector. With the SPECTRAN® V6 real-time spectrum analyzers featuring waveguide technology, for example, the rapidly changing, high-frequency electromagnetic waves from radar range sensors can be reliably analyzed and tested. The SPECTRAN V6 PLUS XPR 250XB-WR12, for instance, offers a signal strength (NF) of 10 dB at 77 GHz. This makes it the perfect choice for radar measurements of this type (76 GHz to 81 GHz). Furthermore, these new devices represent an attractively priced solution. The waveguide connection allows users to connect their own amplifier and splitter systems to the Aaronia AG real-time spectrum analyzers, using waveguides that will be available in the future.

For Thorsten Chmielus, Managing Director of Aaronia AG, EuMW 2024 was a resounding success. “The exceptionally positive response from trade visitors to our new waveguide series demonstrates that we are on the right track. In the coming months, we will be expanding the product range. To respond as flexibly as possible to the needs of engineers and measurement technicians, the real-time spectrum analyzers with Waveguide technology will also be individually configurable, in addition to the standard equipment.”
