The new AMS-8061 area monitor is completely self-contained. Its solar cells and rechargeable batteries allow for virtually unlimited uninterrupted measurements. The device stores results internally, for example, every six minutes, for a period of 30 days. These results can be read locally via Ethernet, RS-232, or USB, transferred to an SD card, or retrieved remotely from a mobile phone. The AMS-8061 saves its current position in GPS coordinates along with the measurement data and can automatically send an SMS when a set limit is exceeded or when it detects a fault.
The area monitor's antennas capture frequencies between 100 kHz and 6 GHz. A spectrum analyzer selects individual frequency components and groups them into user-definable frequency bands. This ensures that the selective measurements performed by the device meet the requirements specified in Chapter 7 of ITU-T Recommendation K.83. The AMS-8061 can also be integrated into web-based applications. The PC software simplifies the evaluation and documentation of results.
The AMS-8061's robust, weatherproof housing makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor measurements.
