The “EMF Observatory” software allows for the integration of multiple monitors, forming a complete area monitoring system. The AMB-8059 monitors electromagnetic fields in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation K.83: Monitoring of Electromagnetic Field Strength Levels. With the appropriate probes, the AMB-8059 can measure field strengths in the range of 100 kHz to 7 GHz. The low-frequency range, from 10 Hz to 5 kHz, is covered by the electric and magnetic field probes.

The area monitor internally stores measurement data, which can be accessed locally via Ethernet, USB, or RS232, or remotely via a mobile modem. Data can also be saved to an SD card. Along with the measurement data, the AMB-8059 can transmit its GPS coordinates.
Powered by solar energy, the AMB-8059 is completely self-contained, with a battery backup of up to 80 days of operation in darkness.

can be equipped with various probes. For example, Narda offers a quad-band electric field probe for monitoring public spaces and residential areas. With selective measurements, it can measure all three mobile phone bands and the entire broadband spectrum from 100 kHz to 7 GHz, without resorting to indirect estimations based on addition or subtraction.

The AMB-8059 also accepts electric field or magnetic field probes for industrial environments where there are high low-frequency currents, allowing both components of the near field to be measured separately, as specified in current regulations.

System Software:
The “EMF Observatory” software enables the creation of a web-based, time-continuous, and wide-coverage monitoring system capable of collecting data from area monitors, storing it on a server, generating reports and statistics, and reacting immediately to alarms when predefined limits are exceeded, or to messages regarding the operating status of individual stations. The user interface is designed to require virtually no specific training.
