The 2000 and 3000 X Series incorporate new features such as WaveGen, which integrates fixed-function and arbitrary waveform stimuli with oscilloscope response measurements.With these new models, Agilent offers a new 1 GHz active probe. The N2795A probe is designed to meet the performance requirements of the 3000 X Series oscilloscopes.
In addition, the 2000 and 3000 X Series now offer the option of adding a three-digit digital voltage meter (DVM) and a five-digit counter that operate through the same probes as the oscilloscope channels. These measurements are not coupled to the oscilloscope's trigger system, allowing engineers to take DVM and trigger oscilloscope measurements with a single connection. The DVM results are displayed on a seven-segment display that is always on, so engineers can instantly review these quick characterization measurements.
