The Wireless Bolt has an IP67 rating and a range of 100 meters. It can communicate with devices using Ethernet, Serial (RS232/485), or CAN. It always uses the same connector (2x9-pin; 3.5mm Plug Connector) for both power and communication.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt is a logical extension of the well-known Anybus Wireless Bridge product line.
Importantly, these products are well-equipped in terms of hardware, processors, and firmware for full compliance with Ethernet TCP/IP protocols.
Anybus Wireless Bolt allows you to configure any machine via a wireless network. You can access the machine wirelessly and communicate with its fieldbus, whether it's Ethernet, RS232/485, or a CAN interface.
You can connect to a field device, such as an AGV (automated guided vehicle). Ideal for hazardous areas.
It implements the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) concept, meaning an expensive HMI is no longer necessary. With a range of up to 100 m, you can use your own phone, tablet, or laptop for access.
It creates a wireless link over Bluetooth or WLAN instead of using RS232/485, CAN, Profinet, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, or TCP/UDP cables. Ideal for moving machinery.
All versions of the Wireless Bolt support wireless communication via Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy or WLAN/WiFi.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt can be easily configured via the product's integrated web pages. It can also be configured by sending AT commands or using Easy Config modes.
For installation, the Anybus Wireless Bolt has a diameter of 50.5 mm (M50). The casing of the Anybus Wireless Bolt is mounted externally and has an IP67 rating. The lower part is installed inside the machine.
