The device can be mounted on trucks, trains, trams, cargo ships, forklifts, trailers, tractors, or cranes for material handling, enabling real-time data transmission and inventory management.
It meets the most stringent operating environment requirements: -25°C to +70°C (extended -40°C to +80°C). Designed to be shock and vibration resistant, it has an IP66 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
It has different operating modes:
1) Access Point, creates an infrastructure for the radio network.
2) Bridge, allows the connection of 2 Ethernet devices to the radio network.
3) WDS Repeater, extends the radio network to up to 6 uncovered areas.
Furthermore, the WLG-ABOARD/N is certified for railway applications (EN 50155 [IEC 60.571] / EN 50121-3-2 / EN 50121-4); it is E-marked (CE standard for electronic equipment installed on board the vehicle), and can therefore be installed with complete safety on board all road equipment
