By Carlos Martinez With the new WLAN 1010 and WLAN 2010 industrial wireless modules from Phoenix Contact, compact machines, mobile robots or automated transport systems can be easily equipped with a WLAN interface.
Unlike the "All in One" WLAN modules, WLAN 1100 and WLAN 2100, the new WLAN modules in this equipment series allow for the connection of external antennas. This enables customization of both the antenna type and its position to meet specific requirements.
All WLAN modules in the WLAN 1000 and 2000 series are distinguished by their reliable WLAN communication and fast roaming. A new REST API allows for configuration and control of the modules via the control system or a PC.
