• AI-driven performance. This unified solution combines next-generation Wi-Fi 7 technology and high-capacity access switching with integrated AIOps services that optimize network performance. Multi-gigabit capabilities enable end users to experience internet speeds exceeding 1 Gbps.
• ONE Network integration. Cambium's ONE Network is the industry's only platform that brings together Wi-Fi, switching, security, SD-WAN, fixed wireless access, and fiber into a single system managed from a single point with cnMaestro™. This flexibility significantly simplifies deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing operations.
The equipment is optimized for network deployment and operation thanks to cnMaestro's capabilities:
• AIOps-based assurance. Offers rapid analysis of network client issues, reducing incident resolution and root cause analysis to a matter of minutes.
• EasyPass Access Services. Greatly simplifies the onboarding of users and devices of all types to the network, reducing the workload for IT staff.
• MarketApps. Enables end users to leverage the network through simple applications based on a microservices framework to execute specific workflows without IT intervention.
Two new access points expand Cambium's Wi-Fi 7 portfolio:
• X7-55X: A tri-band access point with three 4x4/2x2 radios and 6 GHz support, offering enhanced security, ultra-low latency, and a total Wi-Fi data rate of 18 Gbps. It is ideal for high-performance applications such as immersive learning, real-time collaboration, and AR/VR experiences. Its software-defined radios allow selectable operation on either the 5 GHz or 6 GHz band, providing flexibility to adapt to evolving network needs.
• X7-53X: A dual-radio, dual-band 4x4/2x2 solution that delivers the essential benefits of Wi-Fi 7 in a cost-effective platform, balancing performance and cost for deployments in education and hospitality.
Complementing the Wi-Fi 7 access points, the new cnMatrix access switches offer multi-gigabit Ethernet support and unified policy automation. The two new models are:
• EX3030RM-P: 24 2.5/1 Gbps access ports, 6 25 Gbps uplinks (SFP28), up to 90 W of PoE power per port, and dual removable power supplies.
• EX3052RM-P: 24 2.5/1 Gbps access ports and 24 1 Gbps access ports, 4 25 Gbps uplinks (SFP28), up to 90 W of PoE power per port, and dual removable power supplies.
These new switching solutions provide network automation that simplifies provisioning and strengthens end-to-end security:
• Instant provisioning. Automatic network configuration is managed with the "configure once, apply many times" functionality of cnMaestro in conjunction with cnMatrix switches. VLAN information and other configurations are automatically distributed across the Wi-Fi, switching, and security layers for plug-and-play simplicity.
Policy-based automation (PBA) automatically detects and applies network policies to added wired devices, accelerating network configuration and ensuring robust security. Moves, additions, or changes are greatly simplified by port-independent policies that adapt to the network and block unauthorized use.
Cambium's Wi-Fi 7 offers a unique architecture that reduces the number of devices required in many applications by eliminating physical controllers and decreasing the number of access points.
"Our vision is to deliver a truly unified network that performs under pressure and adapts to whatever comes next," added Bruce Miller, vice president of product and business management at Cambium Networks.
"With these new Wi-Fi 7 access points and cnMatrix multigig switches, we're providing IT teams with the technology to build tomorrow-ready networks with the right investment today."
The new Wi-Fi 7 access points and cnMatrix switches are available now and can be ordered through Cambium Networks' global distribution and solution provider partners.
