Linear amplifiers provide up to 80 V and a peak current of 20 A for high-power, very low electromagnetic interference applications.
With a high-performance, dual-precision DSP, the NPaq 6U digitally performs current and servo loop closures to ensure the highest level of positioning accuracy and speed stability. This processing capability enables the NPaq 6U to deliver loop-closing speeds of up to 20 kHz and handle analog and digital I/O processing, data acquisition, laser triggering, and real-time encoding.
Standard options for the NPaq 6U include multiplied encoding, per-axis brake control logic, I/O expansion, and integrated emergency stop circuitry.
The NPaq 6U contains two configurable 600 W power supply sections to support a range of motors with different operating voltages. When only one motor's voltage is required, the power supply sections are combined to provide even greater power.
The Npaq 6U unit features a dedicated Ethernet port for communicating with third-party I/O modules to expand I/O counting applications. It supports up to three position synchronized output (PSO) axes for precise synchronization of external devices, a surge controller, and external fans for high-power operation.
