Along with the 84HP VM CompactPCI® Serial enclosures with 9-slot and Ethernet Full Mesh backplane, HEITEC introduces a new 42HP 4U enclosure for housing 3U cards.
The HEIpac Vario-A CPCI-S case is a system derived from the Vario family, featuring a 5-slot Ethernet Star backplane, bottom ventilation with axial fans, and a power supply tailored to specific requirements (from the most economical option to pluggable and redundant ATX drives). This robust case provides access to the CompactPCI® Serial world.
The other enclosure presented is the 4U HEIpac VM-R CPCI-S; it can be used as either a desktop or rackmount case. It includes a radial fan, ideal for applications requiring front-to-rear airflow. The VM case can be customized with the desired color.
With various ventilation options, widths up to 84HP, different power supply types, the possibility of using hybrid backplanes, etc., a wide range of applications can be covered. This allows users of both CompactPCI® and CompactPCI® Serial cards to have an enclosure suitable for their needs. These enclosures can also be adapted to other VPX-type backplane solutions.
