Leoni's active copper and fiber cables are ready to transmit securely at 400 Gbit/s and above. Leoni's ACC and AOC cables for QSFP-DD and OSFP interfaces impress with their maximum transmission distances and low power consumption. They comply with IEEE, MSA, and SFF standards. In addition to point-to-point interconnects, Leoni also offers QSFP-DD and OSFP for 4xQSFP28 versions in its product range.

Thanks to an integrated repeater chip, the "NEXT copper generation" transmits data with a power consumption of less than 2W per end over distances of up to 7 meters. Despite the extended transmission distance, the active copper cable maintains its performance, making 400G data transmission the standard. Hyperscalers, in particular, benefit from this compact, flexible, and heat-resistant cable solution.

Leoni's active fiber optic cable solution with a photonic silicon chip and QSFP-DD form factor transmits 400G at up to 100m and consumes less than 12W of power per end. For the first time, Leoni is also offering silicon photonics technology with AOCs.
Our silicon photonic technology is characterized by a monolithic chip. Monolithic means that the nanoelectric and nanophotonic structures are integrated onto a single chip. This ensures maximum integration with minimal power consumption. Inside the cable, the QSFP-DD plug design is connected to the chip, which is coupled to proprietary single-mode fibers.
Leoni will also soon introduce the first AOCs with silicon photonics for OSFP interfaces.
