Based on proven performance characteristics, the new generation offers optimized external dimensions for installations where space is limited and is particularly robust and resistant to fire and intense heat. Thanks to the improved RADOX compound, the RADOX 125 range complies with the EU Construction Products Directive.
Cables equipped with RADOX technology are characterized by high tolerance to thermal and mechanical stress, and the solutions are resistant to chemicals. They do not melt or leak in the event of a short circuit.
“Compared to the previous RADOX 125 range, we have improved numerous features with the second generation without any significant change in price,” says Ivan Corsini, Product Manager LF Industry at HUBER + SUHNER. “The cables can be removed easily and precisely and are therefore suitable for automated processing. We will launch the new generation of cables in October, and our customers can expect to be able to install the new solution starting in January 2019.”.
The core cables are halogen-free and suitable for an optimal operating temperature range of -50°C to +125°C. The flexible core cables can also withstand temperatures up to +280°C for short periods. The rated voltage is 0.6/1 kV AC.
